NAA/NAB/MLRC Biennial National Conference

This conference, held every two years and sponsored by the Media Law Resource Center (MLRC) in association with the  Newspaper Association of America and the  National Association of Broadcasters, focuses on the latest developments, trends and techniques in media law and the issues and problems encountered in media law practice.

This three-day event provides attorneys with the latest tactics on implementing a successful representation of their media clients.  Both in-house and outside media defense counsel find the Conference to be a valuable source of helpful and practical strategies.

MLRC London Conference

MLRC's London Conference alternates years with the NAA/NAB/MLRC Biennial National Conference.  This conference assembles media lawyers, judges, and journalists from the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa, and focuses on developments in UK and European libel, privacy and newsgathering laws.

MLRC/Southwestern Entertainment Law Conference

MLRC and the Donald E. Biederman Entertainment & Media Law Institute at Southwestern University College of Law sponsor this one-day conference focused on entertainment law issues.  Past topics have included idea submission claims, right of publicity, and the legal issues surrounding reality programming.

MLRC Digital Media Conference

MLRC's Digital Media Conference, convened at Stanford University and organized by MLRC, the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford, and Stanford Law School’s Center for Internet & Society, explores emerging legal issues surrounding digital content in today’s multi-platform world.
