Entertainment Law Committee

The Entertainment Law Committee holds monthly conference calls to discuss developments in entertainment law and practice, including idea theft and related copyright claims, right of publicity law and legislation, litigation over violent video games and broadcast indecency.

Along with the Pre-Publication/Pre-Broadcast Review Committee, the Entertainment Committee created a guide on the Use of Releases in News and Entertainment Production.  The Committee also coordinated a set of articles for the MLRC Bulletin on Idea Submission Claims Against Media and Entertainment Works, published in 2009.
